 Cherry Rocking Chair My husband and I were looking for a heirloom quality, custom made rocking chair with the very specific function of being suited for knitting. We discussed this idea with Tarik and brought along some pictures of styles that we liked. Tarik was easy to work with and designed a beautiful chair that incorporated our ideas and fits me perfectly. He kept us updated on the progress of the chair with pictures and discussions. 2-18-2010 Hi Tarik. I hope all is well with you & your business is doing fine. Well, I finally got around to taking photos & attached them to this email for you. The pictures really dont do them justice, but I thought you would like to see your handywork in our home. The size is so perfect for the room now, we use it often & I am SO happy with it & its companion buffet table. For family members that remembered the huge former table they are just amazed at what you were able to do & love the buffet you made. And the patina matches perfectly to the aged golden oak mantle piece we attached to the wall. That mantle is from my parents former home, an 1892 built Victorian home, & has its original finish. We would never consider touching it as you can only get that color after being around nearly 120 years. I just wanted to drop you this note & to say, again, THANK YOU for making such beautiful, useful pieces for me. Im so happy I found you. Best wishes for the new year. L.Stewart |
