Philosophy Our Philosophy is not just some words that we use to distinguish ourselves from others. The philosophy we have put to writing represents our respect for our customers, humble beginnings, and dedication to quality. Respect for the Customer: Our beginnings were difficult, with little startup funds and a slow economy, we learned from the beginning that our customers were our most important asset. There was no luck or economic bubble involved, we simply began doing what we love and worked hard to bring our unique designs to the public. Custom orders were few and far between and with a slow economy it was hard to get anyone to take a chance on a small startup. What we found in those early days was how generous and caring each of our customers was. We cared about our customers and our customers always returned the favor. Some of our favorite pieces were created during our startup years and we still maintain good relationships and repeat business with our first customers. Humble beginnings: Our shop began as a small one man operation our of a small 300 sqft shop. In this dark small shop Tarik Yousef established the companys goals to only provide the highest quality solid wood furniture to our clients. Tarik would hand plane every board, chisel every dovetail to perfection and fit every mortise and tenon to create the strongest heirloom quality furniture. Every item was painstakingly handmade, and still is today. It is this attention to detail and commitment to the customer that was distilled at the foundation of our company to ensure that every item would be treasured and passed on through generations as a family heirloom. Quality: It is our quality that has kept us going. Knowing that every item will be cherished for generations has instilled a pride in our workmanship and a continual dedication to improved quality. Every day in the shop, conversations always hinge on the customers needs and how our quality will fill those needs. |
